FPT Industrial celebrated IVECO’s 50th anniversary at its Arbon R&D Center in Switzerland, hosting employees, local representatives, and stakeholders for a Family & Friends Day event.

FPT Industrial will travel to Hanover to attend IAA TRANSPORTATION 2024, the world’s leading trade show for logistics, commercial vehicles, buses and the transportation industry, which will take place from September 17 to September 22, 2024, at the Deutsche Messe AG venue.

FPT Industrial – a pioneer and leader in the development of alternative fuel engines with more than 20 years of experience and over 80,000 Natural Gas engines sold globally to date – will be presenting the complete cycle of biomethane in agriculture at Agrishow 2023. During the trade fair, being held in Ribeirão Preto (São Paulo, Brazil) from May 1 to 5, the Brand will also show off a full range of technologies and solutions to implement independent energy production and a carbon-neutral virtuous cycle in agriculture.

The common path towards decarbonization and the aim to play a key role in the energy transition continues for FPT Industrial and Blue Energy Motors. FPT Industrial, the global powertrain brand of Iveco Group, announces that it has entered into an agreement to make a minority investment in Blue Energy Commercial Vehicles Private Ltd, a zero-emission truck technology company headquartered in Pune, India, engaged in the manufacturing of clean energy trucks under the brand Blue Energy Motors. The closing is subject to conditions precedent.

At the beginning of September in Chakan, Pune (India), Blue Energy Motors launched India’s first manufacturing facility for the production of Liquified Natural Gas (LNG)-fuelled trucks, whose first models will be powered by FPT Industrial “green” engines.

FPT Industrial and Blue Energy Motors have signed an agreement with the goal of deploying the very first LNG trucks in India, powered by FPT N67 NG BSVI compliant engines, on the country’s roads by the end of the year.
