DeepOcean achieved a groundbreaking fully diverless operation to disconnect and remove the Gryphon Alpha FPSO and associated infrastructure using unique proprietary tooling.

DeepOcean was awarded a contract by Equinor for subsea construction and installation on the Snorre Export and Import Gas Project, including an SSIV, umbilical, and tie-in work to extend the Snorre field's life.

The 2026 project covers subsea tree suspension, flowline removal, and DTM buoy recovery in 300–400m waters off Western Australia.

The FlowHeat system enables post-lay heating of subsea flowlines up to 30km at 3000m depth, cutting installation costs by 35% and carbon emissions by 30%.

DeepOcean chartered the Glomar Supporter, a 60-meter multipurpose support vessel, to expand its cost-effective service offering in near-shore survey, inspection, and light IMR for the offshore renewables and oil and gas industries.

The program marks a significant step forward in the adoption of modern electric ROV technology and will support more sustainable subsea operations going forward.

The newly delivered uncrewed surface vessel (USV) integrates a work-class ROV and hull-mounted sonar systems, enabling sustainable and cost-efficient offshore surveys and interventions.

The contract will be served by an extensive team of specialist subsea engineers, a large subsea tool pool, remote operations technology, and a newbuild vessel chartered to DeepOcean.

The two companies combine DeepOcean’s subsea engineering competence and extensive fleet of WROVs and supporting subsea vessels with EXCEEDS’s specialist well decommissioning expertise.
